Joyce Carpenter has been a valued member of the Heart of Jacksonville African Violet Society. Joyce's first nonfiction to appear in a print venue is in the spring issue of Greenprints magazine

Greenprints is a beautiful little magazine that is totally devoted to stories and essays about gardening and also contains some lovely artwork. Like all little magazines, it operates on a shoestring and could use the support of anyone who might be interested. The magazine is available at www.greenprints.com. I have not seen it on newsstands in Jax, but it may be available at very large newsstands in some big cities.
